Note: We’re rolling a version 2.0 release for mid September that will have some of the key features a lot of you have been asking for – namely being able to log in using your Reward Zone ID.

There’s an update on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/10482 Due to a problem on Mozilla’s web site, you have have to create an account first (on Mozilla’s site), log in and then you can install (after clicking on the appropriate checkboxes)  (Otherwise, you’ll get a cryptic error message when you try to install the addon)

You should probably remove the existing Giftag add-on before installing the new one (just in case there’s a conflict).

We’ve gotten a lot of great suggestions and feedback on the app here as well – thanks. BTW, take a look a look at these, comment and vote on em if you like em.

The Best Buy Weekly Deals mobile app allows iPhone users to view weekly deals and mobile-only specials and find the nearest Best Buy store.

The current version doesn’t have all the cool features we want but it’s a start. Look for product reviews, exclusive content and click-to-buy features (among others) in the coming weeks and months.

Let us know what you think of this version and tell us what you’d like to see in future versions.

-Fixed a number of memory issues
-Catalog caching implemented, catalog will only download if it’s newer than the cached version
-Store location detail view, with map & call buttons
-Store Location distance, hours and full address display
-Various tweaks to item detail display
